My FFA Career

My Texas FFA State Officer year was 1997-98 and my convention served was @ the Fort Worth Convention in 1998. That year was spent traveling to almost every school in Texas and meeting thousands of FFA members, putting on camps, meetings, and speaking at numerous events. Bubba Shipley and I spent many hours seeing the great state of Texas. State FFA leadership camp was in Trinidad, Texas and I would have to say it was my favorite FFA camp.

What did FFA do for you?

Public speaking, how to organize and run a meeting, the importance of a good handshake and eye contact, enjoying what you do. I also benefited from numerous FFA Scholarships.

My Agriculture Teachers

My Ag Teachers were Tommy Snook and Dennis Coker. They instilled in me to be driven and excel in what you put yourself into. We have remained close.
