LDEs

Each of these courses has something to offer for everyone. Along with classroom instruction, you can also compete on a multitude of teams. In the fall we compete on LDE (leadership development events) teams, which focus on creating situations for members to demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA. See the attached flier for more information on LDE teams or visit our Google Classroom.

CDEs

In the spring we compete on CDE (career development event) teams, which help to help members prepare for a career in agriculture by testing and challenging the students technical, leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills as well as their knowledge on the subject matter. See the attached flier for more information on CDE teams or visit our Google Classroom.

SDEs

In the spring we also compete in SDEs or speaking development events. The goal of SDEs is to develop the ability of all FFA members to express themselves on a given subject, develop communication skills and learn to formulate remarks for presentations in a variety of situations. Students may choose to do either a prepared speech or an extemporaneous speech that is not prepared ahead of time. For more information on speaking events please scan the QR code to go to the FFA website.

SAEs

Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs) involve practical agricultural activities performed by students outside of scheduled classroom and laboratory time and provides a method in agricultural education for students to receive real-world career experiences in an area of agriculture that they are most interested in. Please scan the QR code or visit our Google Classroom for more information on SAEs.
